Private Site-to-Site Connectivity
End-to-end private connectivity between your China sites and the rest of the world, built from two circuit types that work together: DPLC for the domestic point-to-point legs between Chinese cities, and IEPL or MPLS for the cross-border leg. Both are Layer 2, so your own routing runs across the whole path, and both are uncontended, so latency, jitter, and packet loss stay stable through the evening peak instead of degrading with the public internet. We source from China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, and alternative operators, then choose the combination that fits your route, bandwidth, and budget — and we hold the carrier relationships, so you sign one contract and escalate through one path. The same point-to-point capability covers routes that never touch China — two overseas sites, or a data centre and an office outside the mainland — on the same Layer 2, uncontended terms.
Key benefits
- Domestic DPLC and cross-border IEPL/MPLS from one provider — an end-to-end circuit rather than two contracts stitched together
- Deterministic latency, jitter, and loss: uncontended Layer 2 capacity, not internet-grade best effort
- Layer 2 transparency end to end — run BGP, OSPF, or any protocol your architecture already uses
- Multi-carrier sourcing across China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, and alternative operators — we compare the routes, you get the price
- Alternative non-carrier paths between Chinese cities where the incumbents are overpriced
- Overseas point-to-point as well as China routes — the same Layer 2 circuit between two sites that never touch the mainland
- 10 Mbps to 100 Gbps with committed, burst, and usage-based rate options
- For genuinely large domestic bandwidth, the same route can be taken as dark fiber instead of a circuit — priced by distance, with upgrades down to a transceiver swap
Who it's for
Enterprises linking China offices, factories, or data centres to a regional headquarters, a cloud region, or to each other — and overseas site pairs that never touch the mainland. Typically any team that has outgrown VPN or SD-WAN over the public internet but does not want to negotiate with three carriers across two countries.
Our approach
We map your sites and traffic profile, then design the path: DPLC for the domestic legs, IEPL or MPLS for the cross-border leg, or a mix of carrier and alternative operators where that is cheaper. Because every segment is Layer 2, your existing addressing and routing plan carries over unchanged. We provision with every carrier involved, coordinate the hand-off points, and remain the single escalation path for faults — including the ones that sit exactly on the boundary between two carriers.

How it works
- 1
Local access
We select China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, or another transmission provider to deliver last-mile access from the China site to a CIH-managed PoP.
- 2
Private backbone
Traffic travels between CIH-managed PoPs over our private backbone, using IEPL or a suitable MPLS-based private line for the international segment.
- 3
Destination access
At the destination CIH-managed PoP, we provision the last mile to your site through an established local carrier or one you nominate.

Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Connectivity
Organizations running workloads in mainland China often need to connect China-based cloud environments — including AWS China Regions and Azure operated by 21Vianet — or China branches to public cloud regions overseas. These environments are operated separately, and cross-border connectivity requires a separately designed and provisioned path. We coordinate connectivity options for supported architectures, taking bandwidth, latency, route availability, workload design, and applicable requirements into account. Options range from managed 50 Mbps-1 Gbps virtual connections through partners such as Megaport and Equinix Fabric, among others, to dedicated 1-100 Gbps physical connections for data-heavy workloads.

Build your network out of virtual routers and firewalls rather than physical appliances. We deploy RouterOS, VyOS, FortiGate, or Zscaler VSE as virtual instances wherever your traffic needs them — inside a cloud region, in a colocation cage, at an office edge — then interconnect them into one routed, policy-controlled network over our multi-carrier DIA and Private Connect underlay. No hardware procurement, no customs, no local IT team. Configuration, policy, OS updates, and 24/7 monitoring are handled for you, and you keep administrative access and full visibility.
